"Don't know who this is, but I like him already." one of the three people letting themselves in. He was on the small side, not as short as Clef but probably a little shorter than Link. His hair was jet black at the roots and white on top, and he wore mostly black, white, and red. A small dog trotted in at his feet.
The other guy with him was tall and broad and muscular. HE worse a sleeveless leather shirt ads if to make that even clearer, with a sleeveless vest over it. His longish hair was falling fee out of a beanie. He walked in, grabbed a chair and spun it on one leg till it was face away from the group. Then he slung a leg over and sat, leaning against the back of the chair.
The smaller boy sat in another chair more normally, the dog hopping into his lap. Freddie took the last chair.
"So who is he and why are we talking about second chances?"
"What did you ever need a second chance for?" the taller guy asked, snorting. "Your mother on the other hand..."
"Take it back," he squeaked. "Second chances are bad. But the panic was at least partially faked, the others laughed.
