"A wish. Ah, Jordan then." She nodded and then frowned thoughtfully. "Wait, someone needs a hero? What's wrong this time?" her hand rested on the hilt of her sword.

"Besides this kid not being allowed to rip the king a new one?" Freddie asked, amused. "Seriously, that could have been fun." When the other tow glare dat her she shrugged. "What?"

“Apparently there’s a song about wishing for heroes?”

Freddie was rewarded with a small, quick, grin. “Look, those kinda laws would hurt a lot of people and spirits I know back home. So, I get a little defensive.”

"...oh. Let me guess," Lonnie said with a sigh. "Ally. Love her dearly, but that girl..."

"Doesn't have the sense that fell out of a prince's pockets?" Freddie suggested as an ending.

Lonnie shook her head. "I'm just glad she didn't try out for roar. The thought of her with a sword is terrifying. Speaking of, I can cancel try outs if you guys need my help," she offered.

Jay shook his head. "And give Chad more of a reason to chew on us when I'm not allowed to hit him? No thanks. Best you can help is keep Chad away from us till we can get blondie here home."

Lonnie nodded. "Okay, will do. But I'm keeping my cell on. Some big crisis happens you better call me. No more trying to run off and save people without me."

"I'm a VK, we don't save anyone." Jay said, sounding offended.

"Uh huh. I'll just go ahead and tell Uma and Ben that we didn't actually just dave the king from her and her pirates then?" She grinned then jogged off.

"That was different," Jay muttered.

“Could I borrow a sword?”

If he had been summoned from anyplace other than his bedroom, this wouldn’t have been a problem.

“Normally, I have my own. I’ll give it back before I leave—-oh! I could buy one! I have rupees, see?”

Link held out a handful of the gemlike currency.

Jay eyed the rupees curiously, as did Freddie. Perhaps not the best people to have shown his money off to. "We'll see what I can do about that," Jay said with a casual smile. "For now, let's get onto the Tourney field."

Coming from a world where money was left in everything from grass to trees, Link didn’t see the harm.

“Alright....just long enough to get a sword. Then, I’m going to try a few more songs.”

"That is what we are going there for, your... music or whatever."

"Hey, things have a balance, if music brought him here, maybe it's not so odd that it might take him back. Tell ya what blondie, pay me enough and I'll do a reading to see if it'll work."

“Sure. Fifty seem fair?”

Link offered an assortment of red and blue rupees.

“I occasionally get dreams about the future, but, only super bad stuff.”

Having no clue the going rate, Freddie was non the less Freddie. "Call it seventy five and you've got a deal."

“Sixty.”

Ten more green stones.

"Sixty five." She held out her mini top hat like she expected him to put the gems into it. She was possibly wondering where she would actually keep them, though. She seemed to lack his hammer space.

“Okay. Deal.”

He swapped out green for blue and red only, pleased, because for a reading he’d have paid one hundred.

"Oh no, I want change made so I get all the colors," she said, scowling. He was that happy she clearly could have negotiated harder. Well, she'd find something else he wanted and sell that to him too.

Link tilted his head and added two green rupees.

“They’re only worth one.”

"Then that's fine. But I need them all..." yeah they're not going to fit in her hat. She swung her knapsack off and held it open. "Trick or trick," she said. Then she looked to Jay. "If even one goes missing I will spit you in your sleep."

“Nice try. I just gave you two extra than we agreed on,” Link laughed, unbothered.

She laughed. "I meant put them in the bag idiot. And that I wanted those two extra so I had all the colors. Unless there was a color I'm missing still?"

“Those are the colors I have on me. There’s purple and gold too, but, I don’t have ‘em.”

Freddie whistled. "Well next time you come make sure you bring some. C'mon we can sit on the bleachers for the reading."

“Alright.”

It was an agreement to both, although, he had no plans to return, or give their king access to Hyrule.

She put her bag on her shoulders as they got to the Tourney field. She headed for the bleachers and climbed up a few rows and settled into one of the benches, putting the bag on the floor beside her on the higher side. She was straddling it to use the bench in front of her as a table. "Sit sit, let's see what the cards have to say..."

Link sat down, very interested in the process.

She reached into her skirt pocket and picked out a large deck of tarot like cards wrapped in dark purple and red cloths.

Jay climbed up and stood nearby, arms crossed. "Just checking, is this how you got Jorden in trouble and blew the pipe at Ally's parents' tea shop?"

Freddie looked quickly to Link. "No refunds."
