Wherever he had just been, with a flash of light and puff of smoke he was now somewhere very very different. Visually it looked, for the most part, like the inside of a rather large and elaborate tent. Very Arabian Nights. The walls were brown and gold fabric and there were silk hangings in a multitude of colors all around dangling from the walls, the ceiling, from other silk hangings. In one part of the area was a huge pile of pillows, each in a different jewel tone colour. The whole thing was a bit opulent. Except it didn't feel like a tent. No breeze, no moving air at all. More like being inside. The floor wasn't carpet over sand under his feet, whatever was under the carpet was much harder, solid. and except in the exact center, the floor slanted slightly, coming down to that center. The center was filled with low chairs that were more tassled cushions than anything else, set up in a circle. There was a faint tang of metal to the scent of the still air.
And then there was one thing that utterly did not fit the rest of the image. Behind where he arrived was a desk. With a computer on it. And a bunch of other tech. A girl was sitting at the computer in a rolling chair that somehow wasn't just rolling towards the center. As he arrived she had been speaking. "And that's a...." and then she spun in the chair to face him before she stood. "No," she said as if arguing with someone. He seemed to be the only someone there with her, however. "Absolutely not."
She crossed her arms, glaring at him. She herself was odd. She looked about sixteen her dark hair streaked with purple and pilled back into a skinny high tail that went to her claves. To either side of her face a fang of hair hung free. She wore harem pants and a leather jacket in gold with a dark purple and gold top. She also wore enough jewelry to sink a small ship. And she looked ticked off.
Link shook his head, trying to make sense of where he was. It was already decidedly less bizarre than Termina, since he was still himself. It remained to be seen if it was more or less odd than Nautilus.
“You’d think I’d be used to this by now,” he muttered to himself, before smiling at the girl. He offered a hand. “Hi. I’m Link!”
He was nearly fourteen, almost the same age Shadow had been when he first arrived in Nautilus. The similarities in their features was becoming even more apparent, although, Link’s hair was his own style.
She grumbled under her breath and grabbed his arm. A puff of smoke and light later and they were in a small bright coffee shop. A young girl in a blue dress was dancing around with a dust rang, lifting things and wiping under them as she sang to the music.
"I wish for a hero," she was singing. "I'm holding on to a hero until the end of the night."
The girl holding Link's arm let go of it to facepalm. "The lyrics are 'I WANT a hero, Ally. Not I wish for a hero."
"Oh?" Ally asked, turning to face them looking perplexed. "Are you quite sure. I was almost reasonably certain that it might be wish for."
"I am certain! And Fairy Godmother warned you against random wishing! Now, you wished for a hero, somehow you wound up with this kid. Send him back."
"I am quite sure that I haven't a clue how though," she said, seeming even more confused. "Isn't magic, ah, your department?"
"You know I'm not allowed to knowingly grant wishes, Ally."
"And I'm not allowed to knowingly make them. Oh, but I'm being ever so rude. However do you do, I am Ally, welcome to my parent's teashop. Don't mind Dinah if you see her., she does so love to get into everything."
"Oh. See there then?" Ally said. "He's a hero. Problem solved."
"Problem not solved, Ally! How is this problem solved?!"
"Simple. Heroes save people, everyone knows that. They get people out of trouble. We're in trouble because he's here, so he'll magic himself back home and save us!" she said brightly. She might be a bit... not quite right in the head, this girl.
"Oh! You have magical music! How delightful! Can you use it to clean the cafe?"
"ALLY!" she hissed loudly, angerly. "Magic, as you might recall, is against the law! Do not go getting him in trouble!"
"Oh, right. I do forget sometimes, between you and Mal and everyone."
"I can't help being what I am, and as for Mal... MAL! For once you actually had a good thought, Ally. Alright point ears, let's go." She turned and stalked out of the cafe. "And put that magic music away."
"As best we can," Jordan said. "We're all the descendants of heroes and princesses and sidekicks, after all. Villians break the laws and none of us want to be sent to the Isle."
Jordan shook her head. "I get where the law came from and all. I still think it is unfair and bull headed and wrong. But it is what it is. And we have been safe, for the most part." She shrugged.
"The ones that have wings may still fly, but their magic is only when they get permission," Jordan saif with a shrug. "Don't know much, not one for Neverland, though dad travels all over. Only Fairy I know well is Fairy Godmother, and I know her a little too well for my tastes, if you get my drift."
A Hero Descends

“It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Link, and....I am kinda a hero back home.”

Re: A Hero Descends
Link kind of doubted it would work, but, he took the woodwind from his pocket.
Re: A Hero Descends
"Ally, focus, he can't still be here for the ball this weekend!"
"Oh? Did we run out of invitations?" she asked.
The other girl looked like she wanted to put her head through a wall.
Re: A Hero Descends
He raised the instrument and played a short tune that he’d bound to the stables outside the castle in Nautilus.
Re: A Hero Descends
Re: A Hero Descends
Link wasn’t upset just yet. He’d figure this out one way or another.

Re: A Hero Descends
He huffed a little at being called point ears, but, it was better than being called an Elf, or, goddesses forbid: fairy boy.
"It's an ocarina. Well....specifically, the Ocarina of Time. But, okay." He pocketed the blue woodwind and followed.
Re: A Hero Descends
"Oh goodie," Ally said gleefully. "Evie said she made a new dress for us. And it is always good to see what the Villian kids are up to."
"I suppose," she said leading them out.
Re: A Hero Descends
Link was puzzled, but, he followed obediently.
Re: A Hero Descends
"And they are fun sometimes! You never know quite what they will do next," Ally said, walking with them.
Re: A Hero Descends
Link couldn’t quite wrap his mind around that.

Re: A Hero Descends
Re: A Hero Descends
“Need me to take out the Beast King?” Link’s expression was grim.
Re: A Hero Descends
"Oh yes," Ally said. "IT was quite fun indeed. We got to watch a dragon turn into a harmless little lizard, she's rather cute, actually."
Jordan looked pained.
